Spuyten Duyvel – Tote

Spuyten Duyvel – odd name, but a real one, means Spit in the Devil in Dutch.  It’s the area between the Hudson and Harlem Rivers – known for it’s really difficult currents.  The Henry Hudson Bridge spans the Hudson between Manhattan and Riverdale in the Bronx.  For a while there were three yellow trucks on the bridge doing roadwork.  You can’t see the trucks on the tote but you can see the ducks in the water.  The original picture was made into an infra red image.
